SMS Terms

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These SMS Terms explain how Duck Soup Junk Removal, operated by Litvinov Inc (“Duck Soup,” “we,” “us”), uses text messaging (SMS and MMS) with customers. They apply to texts to and from our business number. Please read them with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

What we use text messaging for

We use text messages so customers can reach us quickly and so we can respond. The messages are about the service you have asked about, such as:

These are customer-service and service-related messages. We do not use this program to send promotional or marketing texts.

How you opt in

You opt in to these messages when you text our business number, (516) 824-1750, or when you give us your mobile number to ask for a quote, schedule service or ask a question and tell us we may text you about it. By doing either, you agree to receive text messages from Duck Soup related to your request. When you text us, our reply goes to the number that texted us.

Our website currently has no form that collects phone numbers. If we add one, it will include a clear text-message disclosure that links to these terms, and any consent box will not be pre-checked.

Consent is not a condition of purchase

You do not have to agree to receive text messages to get a quote or buy any service from us. You can call us at (516) 824-1750 instead.

Marketing messages

We do not send recurring promotional or marketing texts. If we ever offer them, we will ask for your separate, express consent first, you will be able to opt out of them on their own, and agreeing will never be a condition of buying a service.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. You will normally get a text from us only when you have texted us or asked us to, and the number of messages depends on the conversation. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. Photos and videos are sent as MMS messages and may use more data.

How to opt out (STOP)

Reply STOP to any message at any time. END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT also work. We will send one text confirming that you have opted out, and then we will stop texting you. If you have a job scheduled, we may still contact you about it by phone or email using details you have given us.

You can also tell us to stop by calling (516) 824-1750 or emailing [email protected].

Starting again

To start receiving texts again after you opt out, text START to (516) 824-1750, or simply contact us again.

How to get help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or (516) 824-1750.

Your mobile number

You confirm that you are the subscriber or an authorized user of the mobile number you use to contact us, and that you are allowed to agree to these terms for it. If you change or give up your number, please tell us so we don’t text someone else.

Photos and videos

When you text us photos or videos, you confirm you have the right to share them. Please don’t send government IDs, financial documents or card numbers. See how we handle photos in our Privacy Policy.

Carriers and delivery

Messages travel over carrier networks we don’t control. Delivery is not guaranteed, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change.

Privacy

We use your mobile number and the content of your messages to communicate with you about your request. We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in or consent information, and we do not share them with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Providers that help us deliver and store messages handle them on our behalf. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Terms. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision. If we ever add a type of message that needs your separate consent, we will ask for it.
